Avoidance only exists until you face the issue. Walk forward with your eyes wide open. Always try to see clearly and fairly. Question your motives, not from doubt or judgment, but from curiosity. Then you can be clear on your motives for any given action. This is the key to avoiding Avoidance (laugh.)
It is clear that you may not always be comfortable using this method, but it will empower you to take responsibility for your actions and decisions. Therefore, you can be free to enjoy this "ability to respond" or take action. There is nothing to fear about being responsible. On the contrary, it gives you the control to circumvent potential pitfalls and to enjoy the process of growing.
